for the TV Show “M.I.A."
Filming will be in the MIAMI, FL area.
This is not a swimming role—it involves being in a raft and then getting out in approximately 8 feet of water- you won’t even need to swim to shore (from the raft to the beach). We just care about saftey as it is our top priority, so we want to ensure that all participants are good swimmers and feel completely comfortable in the water.
There will be extensive water safety measures in place, with a highly qualified team on hand.
In this TV show, a Haitian woman saves the life of one of our actresses. The woman who performs the rescue also becomes one of the main actresses in the show. The scene you will be filming includes the rescue itself and the arrival to shore.
Rehearsal & Fitting Rate :
$350 per day (based on a 12-hour day).
Both filming dates will likely be much shorter, but rehearsal days will most likely be a full day of work.
2 Rehearsal Dates : March 20th (Thursday) & March 21st (Friday)
Rehearsal dates including your fitting for this role and several practices of the action you will be doing on camera - Start Times for these Date will be in the Morning, this will take place at the Filming Location so you will know exactly what to do on the Filming dates
2 Filming Dates : April 1st (Tuesday) & April 2nd (Wednesday)
Filming Start Times will not be an early- you can expect an earlier Afternoon start time.
RAFT ARRIVAL SCENE :
◦ 6 Adult Performers (Ages : 18-55yrs)
◦ 1 Child Performer (Ages : 6-17yrs)
SKILLS REQUIRED :
SAFTEY IS OUR SET’S #1 PRIORITY - WE ARE ASKING FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE OVER QUALIFIED TO WORK IN THESE SCENE, THERE WILL BE SEVERAL ON SET SATEFY ADVISORS ASSISTING IN THESE SCENES.
- Must have strong swimming abilities
- Must be comfortable in waist-deep water
- Must able to hold their breath when necessary
- Must be ok ok with jumping off the raft in approximately 8ft deep water
LOCATIONS :
Rehearsal days will begin in the Wynwood Area at our Studio and then Raft work Day 1 will be filmed on Miami Beach and Raft work Day 2 will be filmed at Hobie Beach (near Brickell / Key Biscayne)
